I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this office. I returned for a follow-up appointment four months after my root canal because I was still experiencing pain. Approximately six weeks earlier, I had seen my general dentist, who advised me to contact the endodontist if the pain continued. I live an hour and 15 minutes away and had to miss an entire day of work to attend this appointment. During the examination, Dr. Elliott repeatedly instructed me to bite down but never asked me to identify when or where I experienced pain or explained what specific symptoms I should report. He then made the comment that he was unable to find all the βcomplaintsβ I supposedly had. I found this remark extremely dismissive and unprofessional. I was not there to make complaints. I was there because I was still experiencing pain four months after a root canal and needed answers. To be treated as though my concerns were unfounded, without clear communication or an explanation, was unacceptable. After making this lengthy trip and missing a day of work, I left feeling that my concerns had not been taken seriously. Dr. Elliott then told me to return if the pain persisted, which was particula

I just had a temporary crown but unfortunately ended up with more pain. I was referred by my dentist to New South. I was quickly able to get a consultation for a root canal. Then put on the schedule for an appointment for the root canal. Thankfully they had a cancellation and was able to get me in sooner. The process was very quick and the staff are all very kind. Overall great experience even though I did have to have a root canal.

Excellent experience at this clinic in Johnson City. The clinic has a beautiful decor and comfortable rooms that truly help you relax. The entire staff was extremely friendly from the moment I arrived at the reception desk. The dental assistant was very understanding and truly helped me overcome my fear of needles, which I deeply appreciate. Dr. Elliott showed great professionalism throughout the entire treatment. I highly recommend them!"

The office is comfortable clean and decorated so nicely. The pathway from the parking lot is beautiful and calming! The staff was wonderful and very kind. They took excellent care of me. I am always very nervous at the dentist and in this situation I was in a lot of pain but I felt very confident they would help me. Dr. Elliot was professional knowledgeable kind and worked quickly without feeling like he rushed through anything at all. He stopped if I needed to and worked through the best way to fix my tooth. I am truly grateful they had an opening so soon for me and I would recommend them o anyone.

I have had 2 root canals done by Dr. Elliot. One in 2023, and another in 2024. The first one went very smooth and was painless. The second one was a different story. My upper molar suddenly became excruciatingly painful where I could not eat or sleep so I went to get evaluated by a dentist and was told I had irreversible pulpitis and needed a root canal. Since I had a good experience the first time, I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Elliot. The secretary wanted to schedule me with an almost 2 week wait. I begged to get seen sooner because I had so much pain so she got me in a few days sooner but I still had about a week to wait. While waiting I started feeling very sick. I called to tell them I was feeling sick from the infection but they said they could not see me any sooner. I had chills, low body temperature, GI issues, exhaustion and a weird crawling/tickling sensation in my nose (same side as the infected tooth). I explained this to the secretary and was told I probably just had a stomach virus! I told her I hadn't gone anywhere so I knew it wasn't and she said I could still get a stomach virus. From home. Alone. Huh?? Anyway, she refused to get me in any sooner so
